Hezbollah says it has fired a 'salvo of missiles' at Israel, with no sign of an end to the conflict despite ceasefire talks. It comes after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Israel will continue to target Hezbollah with 'full force'.

The UK's defence secretary has reaffirmed calls for Britons to leave Lebanon and for Israel and Hezbollah to agree a ceasefire.John Healey said the UK was 'deeply worried' about the continuing conflict in the Middle East and the risk that it could escalate into something 'much wider and much more serious'.'Our first concern remains the safety of British nationals in Lebanon,' he told Sky News.'The travel advice remains the same. Don't go to Lebanon.

And there are still commercial flights leaving, so people can do that.'On the US-backed 21-day peace proposal, Mr Healey said the plan would give Israel the chance to return its citizens to its northern border and for Lebanon to return its people to their homes in the south.'We want both sides now to focus on peace in the future, not on the fighting,' he added.
