UPDATE | One person has died, and two others are hospitalized after a crash involving seven vehicles on I-70 eastbound this afternoon.
INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead, and two others are hospitalized after a crash involving seven vehicles on I-70 eastbound.
Upon arrival, officials located several severely damaged vehicles, one of which was upside down and fully engulfed in flames. ISP says first responders found two other individuals requiring medical care who were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.According to ISP, the crash closed the eastbound lanes of I-70 for nearly six hours while the crash was investigated, and the wreckage was removed.
