EA has confirmed it'll drop the first post launch patch for Star Wars Jedi Survivor on console tomorrow, including a fix for the Chamber of Duality bug:
The first post-launch patch for Star Wars Jedi Survivor is already available on PC, and will be deployed for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles on May 2, 2023 asWhile we’ve already seen the Jedi Survivor Day Zero patch sent out across PC platforms, we’re still awaiting the official Day One patch which was promised for launch day.
There’s definitely going to be an onus on EA to flash this patch as soon as possible, so we’re imagining that it’s going to be out very shortly. Keep checking back in with us periodically for the latest updates.The Day Zero patch flashed a 2.2GB update to the game, and was spotted on EA’s game platform: Origin. When we had a look at our Steam preload, we noticed a 6.3GB update was downloading, which differs heavily from the EA update.
Fixed an issue were players were getting stuck inside the Chamber of Duality if you didn’t save after leaving the chamber and die. EA say that the fixes in the console patch have already been applied to the PC version of the game. Over launch weekend, EA declared that “In the weeks ahead, [we will] deploy patches that will:As expected, patches for Jedi Survivor will fix bugs and improve performance. This is normal for a newly launched game, as they often experience issues prior to launch due to time-restraints.
