This is the first time the growth rate has been in single figures in 14 months.

The median price of a house in the State is now €300,000, with the most expensive residential property in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown at a median price of €620,000, while Longford recorded the lowest median price at €148,000.“In Dublin, house prices increased by 8.5 per cent and apartment prices were up by 7.6 per cent. The highest house price growth in Dublin was in South Dublin at 10.9 per cent, while Dublin City saw a rise of 7.
