Apple calls this the Dynamic Island and it's basically a way of improving multi-tasking with the iPhone.The iPhone 15 Pro Max will, of course, inherit all of those features and add a slight facelift — rumors say, a thinner bezel around the screen. Plus, it will be made out of titanium, so you skip the three generations where Apple made its Pro iPhones with heavy stainless steel.
But a much more capable OLED panel — Apple's iPhones can now display HDR content , and are much more visible under direct sunlight. The iPhone 15 Pro might hit 2,500 nits of peak brightness, which is more than triple of the iPhone 11 Pro Max's 800 nits. Also, they now have 120 Hz refresh rate thanks to the ProMotion tech on the iPhones. The iPhone 11 Pro Max is still stuck with 60 Hz.
Photos from the iPhone 11 Pro Max are... not bad by today's standards, but definitely show their aging hardware. The 12 MP sensor is long in the tooth, doesn't capture as many details as the contemporary models, and doesn't do as well in low light as more recent iPhones do. So, it was pretty obvious, but yes — you will get a jump in quality if you go from iPhone 11 Pro Max to iPhone 15 Pro Max. The ultra-wide camera has also gotten some minor improvements over the years, mainly pertaining to low light photos and edge distortion adjustment. As for selfies... we don't know yet — stay tuned.iPhone speakers on the Pro Max models are usually fantastic.
