For the first time ever the BBC will be streaming all the live coverage and ceremonies from the Invictus Games on BBC iPlayer and Red Button.
We’re excited to bring The Invictus Games to the UK on BBC iPlayer and Red Button where we will be streaming all the live action straight from Dusseldorf. Our viewers will be able to follow a huge range of inspirational athletes as they compete in many thrilling events.Coverage begins on iPlayer and Red Button at 6pm on Saturday 9 September. Audiences will be able stream up to three events a day throughout the Games with coverage concluding on Saturday 16 September.
The sixth edition of the Games comes will begin with the Opening Ceremony where competitors from 21 nations will be greeted by Prince Harry and entertained by a performance from American rapper, Macklemore. Audiences will also be able to stream the Closing Ceremony, featuring performances from Sam Ryder and Rita Ora from 7pm.
