A man was fatally shot early Monday morning in El Monte. Authorities are seeking information on a potential suspect and motive.
Authorities on Monday were investigating a fatal shooting that occurred during the early morning hours, just prior to 1 a.m.
The shooting occurred on Gage Avenue in El Monte. The victim, a 34-year-old man, was transported to a medical facility, where he later succumbed to his injuries. When authorities arrived on scene they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower torso.Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies asked the El Monte Police Department for assistance in the investigation.
