THUNDER BAY – Silver Falls Road will be closed to the public Wednesday as Ontario Provincial Police continue their investigation into an accident that claimed the life of a Thunder Bay woman over the weekend.

The road is expected to remain closed around 11 kilometres from the Highway 102 junction until the early afternoon, the OPP said.Kaitlin Restall, 41, was found deceased Monday morning near where the van she was driving left Silver Falls Road in Fowler Township and entered the Kaministiquia River late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

Members of the OPP’s Underwater Search and Recovery Unit were on scene Wednesday attempting to locate the vehicle.
