Investigating officer leaves no stone unturned in GBV case
Investigating officer in the murder case of gender-based violence victim Florence Bongo says he is happy that his relentless work has paid off.
Detective Julius Nkgoeng took City Press to that ominous day when the suspect’s family called the police to report a crime that had taken place in their home in Letlhabile outside Brits in the North West. It was alleged that he was taken to hospital and there was a concoction that was alleged to have been drank by the suspect.
“We then started to process the scene and realised that since there was no eyewitness, we had to make sure that all evidential material was collected and sent to forensics.
