The Marcos administration was welcomed with increases in internet download speeds in both fixed broadband and mobile for the Philippines by Ookla Speedtest Global Index’s June 2022 report.

Mobile median speed also increased as the country yielded a download speed of 21.41Mbps from 19.26Mbps the month before. Average download speed for mobile clocked in at 50.57Mbps.
