“Stellenbosch has embarked on a mission to ensure that female inmates in South Africa can complete their high school education with the appropriate resources to improve their chances for successful reintegration into society,” Intelsat explained in a release shared with Hypertext. The rollout of this initiative was held during SA’s Women’s Month, but is intended to offer benefit well beyond the month of August 2024.
“As this initiative continues to grow, it holds the potential to transform the lives of countless individuals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to build a better future for themselves and their communities,” it concluded.
