Here were my quick initial thoughts following the Browns' 2024 schedule release.

* About those division games: All six will be Week 7 and onward. I personally like this much more than last year, when the Browns played all three division opponents in the first four games. * One of the first things everyone is bound to notice about this schedule is the tough road stretch the Browns have at the beginning of the season: Three straight road games as they travel to Las Vegas and face the Raiders in Week 4 on Sept. 29; Washington in Week 5 on Oct. 6; and finally Philadelphia on Oct. 13 for Week 6. It’s the first time since 2011 the Browns have had three straight road games.
* One break they get: Having Miami come to Cleveland in Week 17 on Dec. 29. In a way-too-early prediction, I like the Browns in that one with Miami’s offense having to contend with a Cleveland winter.
