Strictly Come Dancing fan favourite Amy Dowden is best known for impressing judges and fans on the BBC One much-loved dance competition.

Ben romantically popped the question in 2017 during a New Year's Eve party, after seven years together. Chron's Disease Amy was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at the tender age of 11 - a condition which has left her hospitalised over 100 times. "I knew things weren't right but your body goes: 'Right you've got to get through this, you don't want to let anyone down, you can do this.' And you can just push yourself through anything."
The popular dancer first found a lump while preparing for her honeymoon with her husband Ben Jones in April and shared her diagnosis weeks later. The following year, Dowden partnered with musician Tom Fletcher. However, in September it was announced that both had contracted COVID-19 and would miss the following week's show.
