Inside Prince William's paycheque: Duchy of Cornwall nets over R560 million in earnings

The estate's surplus earnings in the 2021/22 financial year were £23 million ; in 2022/23, it earned £24 million ; and 2023/24, it saw a £23.6 million surplus. The report states that there was a fall in surplus generated in 2020/21 because their"tenants and their businesses struggled with the pandemic".
The private estate is referred to as the Duchy of Cornwall and is one of two royal duchies in England."The duchy is a private estate that provides an income to The Duke of Cornwall and his family to fund his official, charitable and private activities," the report says.The report also outlines their goals, such as becoming a net zero estate by 2032 and addressing homelessness in Cornwall.Who we choose to trust can have a profound impact on our lives.
