EXCLUSIVE: Royal expert Jennie Bond has told OK! why The King's decision to give up his Welsh home, Llwynywermod, was a 'no-brainer' as he is acutely aware that the Royal Family's property portfolio is very large

Following the news that King Charles has chosen to give up his lease on his Welsh home Llwynywermod, royal expert Jennie Bond has called the move a "no brainer".

It is understood that there are no plans for the Prince and Princess of Wales to keep a permanent base in the country as they will instead stay in local hotels and B&B's to support the community during their visits. "He lavished a lot of love on Llwynywermod. It really was a house that he only found after years of searching for the perfect Welsh base.

"Now The King has decided to give up the lease any new occupants or holidaymakers will be able to enjoy the sight of six of the English field maples which formed the avenue of trees at William and Kate’s 2011 wedding as they are now replanted in the grounds."
