Mike Pryson covered auto racing for the Jackson (Mich.) Citizen Patriot and MLive Media Group from 1991 until joining Autoweek in 2011. He won several Michigan Associated Press and national Associated Press Sports Editors awards for auto racing coverage and was named the 2000 Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club’s Michigan Motorsports Writer of the Year.

Christian Rasmussen, who won the 2023 Indy NXT championship, is moving to the NTT IndyCar Series to run a part-time schedule with Ed Carpenter Racing in 2024.Rasmussen, who dominated the Indy NXT development series with five wins and eight podium finishes in 15 races, will compete in all road and street circuits for ECR. He will also be the team's third entry, joining veterans Rinus Veekay and Ed Carpenter, for the 108th Indianapolis 500 in May.

”Rasmussen's run up the Road to Indy ladder includes championships at each level—USF2000 , USF Pro 2000 and INDY NXT . He finished his 2023 championship season with an exclamation points, leading every lap and earning his fifth victory of the year in the season finale at Laguna Seca Raceway.Rasmussen is a native of Copenhagen, Denmark.
