Guess how many degrees he taking simultaneously at one point? 🤯

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 20 — An Indonesian man who holds the record for having the most number of degrees had since increased the number to 40 from 32 previously.

Welin Kusuma was awarded the record in 2012 by the Muzium Rekod Indonesia but today the number has increased to 40. The 41-year-old is now in the process of studying for his 41st degree in library science at Universiti Terbuka Surabaya. Of the 40 degrees he collected, 12 are bachelor’s degrees, three master degrees and 25 professional degrees encompassing law, economics and arts courses,According to Welin, who stays at Surabaya, his interest to study began when he was in secondary school.

Besides traditional courses, Welin has also taken other courses such as computer, accounting and English Language. He is also able to type using 10 fingers.The courses are Industrial Engineering at Universiti Surabaya, Economic Management at STIE Urip Sumoharjo, Business Administration at Open University, Law at Universiti Airlangga and Informatics Engineering at Kolej Kejuruteraan Surabaya.
