JAKARTA : Indonesia President Joko Widodo has nominated central bank governor Perry Warjiyo for a second five-year term, a senior lawmaker said on Wednesday.
Reuters reported on Tuesday that the president, known by his popular name Jokowi, would nominate only Warjiyo for the post, according to sources with knowledge of the process. A second term for a Bank Indonesia governor is rare.
