Indiana Woman Flashes Cars, Reportedly Does Same To Police | Carscoops carscoops
While the woman was initially taken to jail, the station reports she was eventually transported to a local hospital for “medical clearance.” There, she allegedly tried to flee and ended up having to be handcuffed to a bed.The incident surely raised eyebrows, but distracted driving is no laughing matter as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notes it.
While phones are most commonly associated with distracted driving, the government notes it also includes “eating and drinking, talking to people in your vehicle, fiddling with the stereo, entertainment or navigation system – anything that takes your attention away from the task of safe driving.” That also includes staring at a flasher, although those are something you don’t see every day.
