🇮🇳 Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's old speech clipped and shared out of context
However, the claim is false. The video was taken from a speech where Modi was quoting Pakistan’s then-prime minister Imran Khan.f the English-language Indian news channel NDTV on February 23, 2019.Below is screenshot comparison of video in the false Twitter post and Modi’s speech on NDTV’s YouTube channel :

During his speech, he"challenged his Pakistani counterpart Imran Khan, asking him to act honourably by bringing to justice those responsible for the Pulwama terror attack".
In the NDTV video on YouTube, Modi can be heard referring to his call to congratulate Khan on being elected Pakistan’s prime minister:"India and Pakistan should together fight poverty, illiteracy, I told him that day. And he told me one more thing: 'Modiji, I am the son of a Pathan. I speak the truth, I follow the path of truth.'
"Today, it’s time to test these words of the Pakistani prime minister. I will see if he stands true to his words."
