This incredible image shows the house of the future – using only smart tech. The home is kitted out with smart curtains, a fridge that restocks itself, and thermostats that can be operated outside the house.
The survey, commissioned by Hive to mark 10 years since it launched its smart thermostat in 2013, also found such tech is in 21 per cent of UK homes. The study also found 18 per cent of smart homes have lighting that can be controlled via voice or an app, while one in ten have a smart washing machine, and 54 per cent have at least one smart speaker.
The research also discovered only one in five adults feel their home is “very prepared” for winter to hit, according to the OnePoll.com figures.
