The leafy suburb of Brackenfell has emerged as a rising star in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs, with homeowners experiencing above-average capital growth in their residences which is driven by expansion, infrastructure improvements, and proximity to key amenities, says Keimpe Westra, area principal for Pam Golding Properties.
“The ongoing trend of people relocating from other provinces to the Western Cape has further fuelled demand, as Brackenfell provides a sound balance of quality living and affordability when compared to other parts of Cape Town - factors which have also contributed to strong demand and rising property values in the area.
Source: Lightstone statistics“Brackenfell’s residential property market remains strong, with steady demand stimulated by its prime location and ongoing infrastructure improvements, coupled with the anticipated downward interest rate cycle – which has also prompted sales and new listings in the area. In our experience, the average home price sits at around R2.
“Apart from semigrators from other provinces – including Gauteng purchasers seeking mainly gated estates, the bulk of our buyers are from within the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
