The rain held off as survivors and supporters alike gathered at King’s-Edgehill School and made their way through Windsor for a five-kilometre run. At least $35,000 has been raised so far, with the event organizer, Taya Shields, hopeful to reach $40,000 by the time all of the pledges are in and tallied.Calvin Desroches, 4, left, and Timo Verryn Stuart, 4, both from Windsor, take a moment to check Timo’s footwear before the run started.
