Austin, Dallas and San Antonio are offering several Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrations, and unlike in recent years most of them will be held in person.
TEXAS — After a couple years of virtual and hybrid celebrations for civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr., the cities of Austin, Dallas and San Antonio will be hosting in-person events leading up to and on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. BRAVE Communities
San Marcos Public Library is hosting a MLK kid’s event on Saturday, Jan. 14. The family-friendly event is designed for pre-school through middle school aged kids. Participants are invited to explore new videos, books and create posters for the upcoming MLK Day March.
