2 toddlers die after woman stabs man then jumps from Chicago high-rise with child
CHICAGO – Two toddlers are dead after a woman left a child in a bathtub, stabbed a man and then jumped from the 11th floor of a building with another child early Thursday morning, police said.
The two children were pronounced dead at Comer Children's Hospital. The woman and man were taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.Police initially stated that the woman, in her 30s, is the man's daughter and the mother of the 1-year-old child. "This is an immensely tragic incident & our thoughts are with residents of that building & first responders working the case," Guglielmi said.
