Lionsgate has announced the Imaginary release date for Blumhouse's forthcoming horror movie from Kick-Ass 2 filmmaker Jeff Wadlow.
“In the film, a young woman returns to her childhood home only to discover that the imaginary friend she left behind is very real and very unhappy she left,” reads the synopsis.
Imaginary is directed by Jeff Wadlow from a screenplay he co-wrote with Greg Erb and Jason Oremland. Wadlow is no stranger to horror, as he previously helmed 2005’s Cry Wolf starring Jon Bon Jovi, 2018’s Truth or Dare starring Lucy Hale, 2020’s Fantasy Island reboot starring Michael Pena, and 2022’s The Curse of Bridge Hollow starring Marlon Wayans.
The project is being produced by Jason Blum and Jeff Wadlow, with Ryan Turek executive producing. It is a production by Blumhouse.
