So far the Electoral Commission has confirmed more than 19 000 spoilt ballots since the start of counting on Wednesday night.
While voter turnout is standing at 64.46%, the Good party headed by Patricia De Lille is the only newcomer that is gaining significance so far. With just over 1.6-million votes counted, the ANC is leading the national race with 53.89%, the DA with 27.14% and the EFF with 7.83%.
