The Rosemary Daniels actress died in her sleep surrounded by loved ones
The family of Neighbours actress Joy Chambers-Grundy has announced her death at the age of 76. Joy was well known for a variety of roles in popular TV shows but was an integral part of the Neighbours cast playing Rosemary Daniels, The Mirror reports.
As well as Neighbours Joy played Rita in The Restless Years and Dr Robyn Porter in The Young Doctors. She was the second wife of late TV mogul Reg Grundy, who created Neighbours. Joy also wrote seven historical fiction novels over the past two decades. Her works include Mayfield, None But The Brave, Vale Valhalla, For Freedom, My Zulu Myself, and The Great Deception. Introducing her work on her website, she said: "My life is in the entertainment business. A skilfully written book can be read on many levels but it should always entertain. . . I attempt to do that.
