The CEO of ICBC is making the move to serve as the new CEO of BC Ferries after the position was left vacant in July 2022.

“While Nicolas’ departure is a loss for ICBC, we are delighted to see him moving on to BC Ferries, where he will be leading another important public service and great organization with a rich history. We wish him nothing but success in his new role.”“Nicolas Jimenez is the right leader at the right time for BC Ferries,” Joy MacPhail, BC Ferries’ board chair said in a statement. “He is a change leader with a proven track record of success.
