The government may revisit existing policies on travel and outdoor activities while the Philippines is on the lookout for a possible surge brought by the feared Delta coronavirus variant, the co-chair of the pandemic response task force said on Monday.

"All of these suggestions, we will seriously consider because the Delta variant, it changes the rules of the game," Nograles said. There are 35 Delta variant cases recorded in the Philippines to date, including 11 locally acquired cases, according to the Department of Health.
