“These crimes and uninvestigated allegations display the profound and inexcusable lack of accountability and oversight by multiple jurisdictions and police forces,” the First Nations maintained. “The circumstances are that it took a very courageous police officer to come forward and press the issue of why weren’t these allegations taken seriously.”
