Norah Allison went viral on TikTok after posting a video claiming she was fired from a corporate job three hours after quitting.
Norah Allison – a pilates instructor living in Canada — posted a now viral video shedding light on how replaceable people can be — claiming she was replaced in just three hours after she quit a corporate role.
Allison stitched the video with another content creator, who asked: “What’s something you were not prepared for about the corporate world?” In the 29-second clip, she says she used to work overtime constantly, giving up weekend and evenings to do her job but says it is not worth it, warning others not to do the same.
“No matter how much work you do you are always dispensable. Always,” Allison says in the clip, which has been viewed more than 4.2 million times.“I stood on my head for a company and went in early every morning, left late and worked weekends,” she continues. “When I decided to leave, they replace me within three hours.The post had over 5,000 comments — from people agreeing and sharing their own experiences of it happening to them.
