At times, I felt like I was going on a wild goose chase with no end in sight
To get to the heart of town, I found I was having to drive back out and then back in. And there were other times where I found myself circling around a labyrinth of streets within the business sector.
I started my journey by heading towards Eastgate which feels like the entry point into town from north Leeds. From there, I decided to head to Leeds Station which I wrongly assumed would be a quick journey, where I could clinically nip through the town and be there in about five minutes. For my next destination, I decided to head to The Light shopping centre car park. I couldn’t think of a more central location to easily get to.
I found I was driving around in circles at one point in attempt to find a clear path towards The Light. My journey even took me on a scenic venture around Park Square. I just couldn’t believe how difficult it had become to travel through the centre.
