'I starved myself for Love Island and became addicted to fillers', says former Islander

It's no secret that Love Island contestants undergo huge makeovers before they enter the villa, with each person wanting to look their best while on the ITV2 dating show.

Rachel, who fell for Rykard Jenkins while on the hit show, has revealed she starved herself and followed a strict exercise plan in preparation for her reality TV show appearance, all the while working 13-hour shifts as an NHS nurse. “There were pictures of me on a beach and I saw comments everywhere saying ‘She's pregnant,’ when I wasn't. That was really horrible.”

Rachel revealed she had gotten a "tiny bit" of filler and botox before appearing on the show, but it was afterwards she ended up getting a lot more done.
