Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa's appointment was questioned by some members whom he assured he was more than capable to lead the ministry.
CAPE TOWN - Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa told the National Council of Provinces that he's not a “junior minister” and his presence in Cabinet was not “ornamental”.
Ramokgopa faced a grilling in the NCOP on Tuesday, where delegates quizzed him on what he’s doing to limit the severity and frequency of load shedding.He said there were a number of interventions to help end the load shedding crisis. Ramokgopa's appointment was questioned by some members whom he assured he was more than capable to lead the ministry.
