The governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has assured that his administration will complete all inherited infrastructural projects.

He spoke on Friday during an inspection of the 82-kilometer Mararraba-Baissa-Abong road project in Kurmi Local Government Area of the state.

The contract was initiated by the former governor of Taraba State, Darius Ishaku, and was still ongoing before the expiration of his tenure. Gov. Kefas explained that he has been under pressure to release more funds for the road project, but he thought it wise to assess the contractors’ progress before committing more resources.

According to him, “I have been receiving pressure from the contractors to pay them, but we need to see the level of work done, and that is why we are here today. “I want to reassure the people of the state that this administration is dedicated to completing projects initiated by previous administrations, especially those that are very important like this one.
