Ex-Kaizer Chiefs coach Vladimir 'VV' Vermezovic says 'it's too much to hear that they have gone almost 10 years without winning a trophy'.
Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Vladimir ‘VV’ Vermezovic says he is open to returning to Amakhosi if the club offers him a contract.
The Serbian tactician led the team for three seasons between 2009 and 2012. During this time he guided the team to two Telkom Knockout Cup triumphs in his first two campaigns with the club. He was sacked before the end of the season and later replaced by Stuart Baxter.Speaking to KickOff, the Serbian coach revealed he was eager to return to Chiefs.“I have good memories from my time at Chiefs.
“To understand the mentality of people in that space is very important and that is why I had some problems in the beginning when I got there. The mentality was totally different, but later it became much better. “Back then everything was new for me, but now I have a better understanding. For Kaizer Chiefs, it is too much to hear that they have gone almost 10 years without winning a trophy,” he added.“Everything is about trophies at Chiefs. I know that because I was there. I know the solution for what is happening at Chiefs.Vladimir Vermezovic enjoyed his time at Chiefs
“I remember that when I came to Chiefs in 2009, the club was in a better situation than now. It looks bad now,” Vermezovic said.
