The family have a Disabled Person's Parking Card or ‘blue badge’ they can use to park in disabled parking spaces when they are out with their daughter.Only blue badge holders are entitled to use disabled parking spaces but Antoinette says she sees people illegally parked in them “on a regular basis”.“I just block them in,” she told“Obviously, I would see if there’s a blue badge there.
“If there’s not, I will literally block them and I will not move until I’m finished doing whatever I have to do.Parking spots reserved for the disabled. The reaction from other people can often be angry but Antoinette believes she teaches them a valuable lesson. “They’re illegally parked, so they’re preventing me from parking in that spot, so now they can wait,” she said.
