In his late 20s, he decided to take a break from his career to travel around Canada and spent three months living on a farm. “When I came back, I then had to integrate it into my life and my family – so that was when I realised it was going to be a long journey ahead.” “But I had to transition while in the public eye, face-to-face with families and people asking me questions, telling me I looked different.
Since starting his transition, Jaden has had top surgery, an operation which removes breast tissue and reshapes the chest to create a more masculine appearance. But with a shortage of opportunities for trans male actors, he once again had to take things into his own hands and create his own role.In the show, written by Jaden with support from writer Mary Cooper and director Francesca Murray Fuentes, Jaden plays Jack, a 23-year-old forklift driver.
