The new members of the Colorado Avalanche now have a first-hand look at the club’s culture amidst high expectations, and they are impressed.

Jonathan Drouin noticed it right from the start.

One newcomer, Ross Colton, has also won the Cup. The others who are expected to be key contributors have not, but they now have a firsthand taste of the culture that is established here.

Ryan Johansen came from Nashville, where his Predators reached the Cup Final in 2017 but haven’t advanced past the first round since.
