We tried the Armenian Kebab House on Harrowside in Blackpool to see if it's really one of the best in Britain
When you think of kebabs, you probably associate the foodstuff with a night of drinking or a delicacy reserved for students. It's only when you leave the UK that you notice kebabs are a celebrated, cultural tradition.
It says: "Best kebabs I’ve ever had. No comparison to other kebabs. Very filling and good value. Its reputation in Blackpool is very well deserved." The menu is small and is displayed in the shop window - so even if you are waiting, you can decide what you want straight away. The Armenian Kebab House has been in its location since 1978 and it appears as though not a lot has changed since then.
It's only a small shop, so I decide to wait outside which is seemingly what everyone else decides to do as well. I walk down the road a little bit too and note that there is actually a cash machine at the McColl's down the road, so if you don't forward plan with bringing cash it's not too much of a problem.
