The Canes are trading defence prospect Adam Fox to the Rangers.
Sportsnet’s John Shannon reports the return is a second-round draft pick in 2019 and a conditional third-round pick in 2020.
Adam Fox’s rights have been traded by the ‘Canes to NYR for a 2nd this year and a conditional 2nd next year.— Elliotte Friedman Fox, 21, was acquired by the Hurricanes from the Calgary Flames in the Dougie Hamilton trade last summer. He was a finalist for the Hobby Baker Award as the top college player this season after posting nine goals and 48 points in 33 games at Harvard.
