Marine Atlantic has cancelled several crossings between Newfoundland and Nova Scotia over the weekend.North Sydney to Port aux Basques at 11:15 p.m.Saturday, Sept. 24Port aux Basques to North Sydney at 11:45 a.m. and 11:45 p.m.Port aux Basques to North Sydney at 11:45 a.m.
The CAT high-speed ferry service between Yarmouth, N.S. and Bar Harbor, Maine, has been cancelled for Sept. 22, 23 and 24. Kejimkujik National Park and Historic Site and Kejimkujik Seaside will close at noon on Friday, Sept. 23. Halifax Citadel, Grand-Pré, Fort Anne and Port Royal will also all close at noon on Friday, Sept. 23. Reopenings updates planned for Sept. 26.Stanhope and Cavendish Campgrounds in P.E.I. National Park and Green Gables Heritage Place will close at noon on Friday, Sept. 23.
The Nova Scotia government said provincial parks and the wildlife park will be evaluated for damage and safety concerns before they reopen.
