A search for two men is underway after a car was set on fire.
Police were called to Kilmailing Road at around 10.05pm on Sunday, September 11 following a report of two men causing damage to four vehicles, with one of them being set on fire outside a property.No one was hurt as a result of the blaze.
Officers are now appealing for help to trace the two men and are urging anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch.Detective Constable Sarah-Lee MacFarlane said:"Luckily no one was injured as a result of this fire, but the two men must be traced and I would ask the public for any information they hold that may assist our investigation.
"Any witnesses or anyone who saw the black Mercedes or BMW in the Old Castle Road area is asked to contact us.Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101, quoting incident number 3822 of September 11.The suspects were both wearing dark-coloured clothing and gloves and had their faces covered.
