Tongaat Community Policing Forum chairperson Nazir Sadack says they're concerned about the threat the incident poses to the community. "It does affect the safety in the area because now we have individuals that are armed and that are running around and commit murder. "We are not too sure the nature of the murder, whether is was drug-related, gang-related or whether it was a robbery that these individuals were shot, but the concern is there that we got individuals out there that are armed and that commit a crime as such."
