Hundreds of new apartments on the way at Fort Worth’s historic stockyards
Fort Worth's historic Stockyards dates to the 1800s and is seeing redevelopment into a retail, restaurant and entertainment district.A San Antonio-based apartment builder that has done several projects in Dallas is headed to Cowtown for its next deal.
The more than 400-unit apartment project will include five multifamily apartment buildings with a fitness center, pool, courtyard, sky lounge leasing office and a future phase for development, according to planning documents filed with the state. The more than $35 million Fort Worth development is planned to start in January and will open in 2025.
The planned apartment project is one of the largest additions yet to to Fort Worth’s signature Stockyards, which is being redeveloped into a retail, restaurant and entertainment district.
