Someone entered the grounds of the Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites in Colwood and stole about 900 metres of rope.
West Shore RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for just over 900 metres of turquoise and blued rope.
Police said that sometime overnight on April 19, someone entered the grounds of the Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites in Colwood. An estimated 914 metres of nylon rope were taken from multiple locations around the park. The polyester rope, similar to the type commonly used on boats, was being used to line trails and create pathways at the historic site.
Anyone who sees the rope or has inforamation on the theft is asked to call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264.
