'Speed restrictions will be in place as a precautionary measure on other routes, which will mean longer journey times.' As for Friday, the operator said services between Aberdeen, Inverness, Fort William and Euston were ‘currently running as scheduled but there is a high probability that these services will be cancelled’. It said it was ‘monitoring the situation closely'.
