Humza Yousaf's mother-in-law, who remains trapped in Gaza, has said her "final goodbyes" in a call with the First Minister and his wife, Nadia, an SNP MP has said.
She has been stuck in Gaza with her husband, Maged, since the escalation in hostilities last weekend. SNP MP Chris Law, speaking at PMQs today, revealed El-Nakla had made her “final goodbyes” this morning, the Daily Record reports. “With military action intensifying and the death toll rapidly rising, the Prime Minister’s first responsibility must be to bring British citizens home.”
Responding, the Prime Minister said: “Of course, the thoughts of everyone in this House will be with those families affected by what is happening in Israel and in Gaza.
