Buffy, eat your heart out: Hulk the Monster Slayer is coming, with Marvel returning the green giant to his original namesake, with a new twist.
For the first time in years, Marvel is ready to put the "Incredible" back into Incredible Hulk. As promised with the relaunch of a new Incredible Hulk series, Hulk will return to horror as he and Bruce Banner wage a new war against supernatural threats to Marvel's Universe, with a new 'Age of Monsters' officially about to begin.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY For years, Bruce Banner's hulking hero form has gone through countless changes, variations, and alterations in both series and character, but most importantly his name. The Hulk has been Immortal, Indestructible, or simply 'Hulk,' but he finally returns to his 'incredible' name with a brand new mission: stand between the Marvel Universe and a horde of monsters set to destroy it.
It's all in an attempt to free these monsters' creator, the Mother of Horrors. Now, with the help of an unlikely friend, Banner and Hulk must reluctantly work together before the world is sucked into the depths of darkness forever.
